FAQ

-
By default, teams stay together as they go up an age division. The exceptions are when we need to merge teams in order to get enough players. Even then, we will try and keep as many kids together as possible.
-
This means that unless you tell us on your registration that you want a new team, you will get the old team and/or coach.
-
If a player's registration has not been turned in when teams are formed, then they lose the right to be placed on the old team.
-
New teams are formed by random draw within the boundaries of the elementary school your child would attend.
-
For home schooled or private school kids, they draw to the school your child would normally attend.
-
There may not be enough kids to form a new team at a school, so they may be placed at the next closest school.
-
We now allow friendship teams.
-
Examples of friendship include:
-
Cousins
-
Attend the same church.
-
Are in the same cub/girl scout group.
-
Played another sport together.
-
All were in the same pre-school.
-
The intent is to allow the introduction of new players to teams where they can see a familiar face.
-
We do not allow stacked or select teams.
-
Once a player is on a team, they cannot be cut to provide room for a new friend.
-
We reserve the right to disband a stacked team.
-
We reserve the right to push a stacked team to a league where they may get more competition.
-
We cannot put a child on a team with certain practice nights. We don't know when and where a coach practices while we are forming teams.
-
Pure age teams are U6, U7, U8, U9, and U10. The rest are mixed teams.
-
U6's are the only co-ed teams.
-
Siblings can play together if in the same age division. Even though teams are to be pure age-if siblings who are in the same age division (example: U7 and U8, or U9 and U10) we can place them on the same team.
-
A coach may assign one assistant coach per year, not per season.
-
U6's play 3vs3-no goalie and the teams are co-ed.
-
U8's play 4vs4-no goalie
-
U9's play 6v6 with a goalie.
-
U11's play 8v8 with a goalie.
-
We provide shirts for U6's only!
-
Shin guards are mandatory both at games and practices.
-
Participation trophies are given to all players in the U6, U7, and U8 division. 1st and 2nd place trophies will be given for U9 and up.
-
